Chapter 2: The Great Dusting

Chapter 2 premieres on YouTube soon
Pip

Cleaning day in the Hall. The guild meets the Spider Wardens, unlocks Hearthkeeping, crafts the Broom of Reach and sweeps the Tower Stairs. Then the vacuum comes out, and the guild fights its first raid: the Dust Hydra. In the loot, Pip finds a mark he knows. Guild Level 3.

Patch notes

  • Added: the Spider Wardens (NPCs, reputation: Friendly)
  • Added: new skill Hearthkeeping (now level 6)
  • Added: the guild's first raid boss, the Dust Hydra (defeated)
  • Added: Broom of Reach (Rare), Damp Rags (Common), Canister of Ancient Dust (Poor), Smudged Shelf-Mark (???)
  • Added: Zone: the Old Server Shrine (ruins)
  • Main Quest "The Great Dusting" complete. Next: "Moving Day"
  • Guild Level 2 -> 3 (105 -> 235 XP)
  • Fixed: 'Day one' now correctly reads 'Day two'. (We didn't do anything day one.)
  • Added: Pip's Ballad, Verse 2 and Pip's Riddle #2. Clue #1 to Pip's Lost Book.

Pip's Ballad

Three-headed, grey and very old,
the Dust Hydra rose and fell;
the Wardens keep the corners now,
and the Hall is breathing well.
