About this book
Wasn't Shakespeare Someone Else?
By Ralph L. Tweedale
Verity Press | Hardcover with original dust jacket
Who wrote Shakespeare? Tweedale takes the Oxfordian side of the debate, looking for clues in the Bard's own words and arguing for Edward de Vere, the 17th Earl of Oxford. A fascinating addition to a Shakespeare library, with the author's own inscription making this copy especially personal.
Signed and inscribed by Ralph L. Tweedale, dated February 17, 1971.
Condition: The colorful original jacket has rubbing, edge wear, several tears and small chips, with an orange label on the spine. Light age toning and ink transfer at the inscription.
A distinctive copy for readers and collectors interested in Shakespeare, Elizabethan literature and the authorship question.
