Original hardcover with the striking illustrated dust jacket depicting the snow-covered Farmer’s Hotel. The novella is set in the Pennsylvania countryside and centers on a group of travelers brought together at a rural hotel during severe winter weather.

Book itself appears structurally sound with normal age toning and light shelf wear.

Dust jacket is in poor condition and shows substantial age and wear, including heavy edge wear, chips, tears, areas of loss, creasing, discoloration/soiling and old damage. Please examine all jacket photographs carefully.

This copy also contains several pieces of original found ephemera, including a 1969 church bulletin and a separate handwritten sheet containing names/notes associated by a previous owner with The Farmer’s Hotel. An embossed previous-owner stamp reading George D. Fryer is also present. These materials are included with the book as found; no claim is made regarding their historical connection to John O’Hara or the publication.
