Pierre Lecuire
Preface by Michel Wittock
Bibliotheca Wittockiana, Brussels, 2007
First edition
French language softcover
A scarce book-arts exhibition catalog devoted to Pierre Lecuire and La Nuit bleue. The book looks at Lecuire’s work through the art of the book and fine bookbinding.
Only 300 copies of this catalog were printed. The first 30 copies, numbered I-XXX, were signed by Pierre Lecuire. This copy is from the standard unsigned issue and is not being sold as signed or numbered.
A strong specialist reference for collectors of Pierre Lecuire, artist books, fine bindings, book arts, French publishing, and exhibition catalogs.
Best fit for book collectors, bookbinders, artists, designers, and collectors of French livres d’artiste.
Major hook: Scarce 2007 first edition with a total print run of only 300 copies.
Condition: Very good overall. Light handling, surface marks, and minor edge wear to the pale covers. Interior pages appear clean and well kept. Binding appears sound. No writing or major damage seen in the pages checked. See photos for full condition details.
